A new cluster is now available for submitting Grid jobs. The tycoon-ext-02.hpl.hp.com access node has been retired and all users should now use the tycoon-70-24.hpl.hp.com node instead. For more information please see the updated Tycoon Grid Integration User's Manual (pdf).

Tue, Feb 14 2006 17:50 - Tycoon Cluster Contribution to World Community Grid (sandholm)

The Tycoon cluster is contributing compute cycles to the worldcommunitygrid project. To fund this effort simply run: tycoon bank transfer worldcommunitygrid c, where c is the dollar amount you want to contribute from your Tycoon account. The amount will be distributed with the Best Response algorithm across the cluster nodes, and the deadline of the funding is set to 1 year. Users and Resource Providers are invited to participate in the Tycoon Grid Market. A pilot market has been set up to allow users to submit their HPC jobs on a cluster controlled by a Tycoon Market using a Grid scheduler.
